Adam Lee, founder of Siduri, is making the Status Quo wines. Fermented in stainless steel then aged for 14 months in 30% new French oak, this Russian River Chardonnay expression comes from a patch on River Road next to wine legends Rochioli and Williams Selyem. This Chardonnay screams "Hello, Goldilocks!" as notes of golden apples, Bartlett pears, and spicy cloves jump from the glass. Creaminess, a lemony zip of acidity, and a flash of salty, rocky minerality on the finish.
