Decanter, 98 Points
"A blend of 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay sourced from Charles Heintz, Durrel, Ritchie, Silver Eagle, and Farrington. The wine spends nine months in barrel during fermentation, with 80 months on the lees for extended tirage. Crafted by Weston Edison. This is wonderfully full-bodied, with an expansive and voluminous personality, with a toasty nuttiness, and drinks like incredibly fine, grower Champagne. Despite being a Brut Nature, it has a creamy richness on the palate, with crisp orchard fruit, white truffle notes, polished wet-river-stone minerality, and a lengthy oyster-shell and sea-salt mineral finish. Only 1,032 bottles were produced."
