Conn Creek Cabernet Sauvignon AVA Series Atlas Peak Napa Valley 2021
TASTING NOTES
"Powdery perfume and prominent fig notes open this dark ruby wine. The mouthfeel is soft with red currants, raspberries and light weight tannins that finish with fresh underlying sage notes.” — Elizabeth DeLouise-Gant, Winemaker

"I love the energy and tension on the palate of this Atlas Peak Cabernet from Conn Creek. It's got a great nose of boysenberry and Bing cherry fruit dusted with white pepper and a host of fragrant crushed stone minerality. The palate is immediately enticing with more of that crunchy red fruit upfront, transitioning to darker cassis and spiced plum notes with tobacco, sandalwood and a dazzling mix of wild herbs and savoury chaparral notes. It's a treat to have such high-mountain tannin so nicely integrated so early on. Enjoy now and for the next 15 years."
